Neil slowly becomes a part of the team and the reader gets a bit of an idea of his personal story. In this first installment we get a glimpse of the stories of a couple of Foxes and their stories broke my heart. All of the Foxes have their own past to deal with and throughout the series more and more will be revealed. Time to change that as well 😉Īs I said, the book deals with a lot of dark themes. It made me realize I want to read more sports romances soon! The setting is mostly at an university and that’s something else I really enjoy and unfortunately haven’t read that much yet. I really enjoyed the sports aspect of this story. So when he get’s recruited for an university team he decides to go for it. However, he can’t stay away from Exy, the game he loves. Our main character is Neil and he’s in hiding. Also, don’t get your hopes up about that m|m romance just yet 😉 What I didn’t know was that there are really dark themes in this book! And that’s actually what made me love it as much as I did. I saw The Foxhole Court recommended a couple of times and all I really knew was that there was a m|m romance and that it was about a made-up sport. The Foxhole Court by Nora SakavicĪpparently I didn’t read the synopsis before I started reading the book. Maybe he's finally found someone and something worth fighting for. Neil has survived the last eight years by running. One of Neil's new teammates is a friend from his old life, and Neil can't walk away from him a second time. His lies will hold up only so long under this kind of scrutiny and the truth will get him killed.īut Neil's not the only one with secrets on the team. The team is high profile and he doesn't need sports crews broadcasting pictures of his face around the nation. Signing a contract with the PSU Foxes is the last thing a guy like Neil should do.

He's short, he's fast, he's got a ton of potential-and he's the runaway son of the murderous crime lord known as The Butcher.

Neil Josten is the newest addition to the Palmetto State University Exy team. So today I want to share my thoughts on these three books.

Before I knew it I finished the whole trilogy haha. And for some reason I decided to start listening to The Foxhole Court at the start of June. The Foxhole Court has been on my wishlist for at least two years now and I recently discovered the hole series was available on Scribd.
